On the Nature of God

The Great Spirit is limitless, infinite. The Great Spirit is both Male and Female, and yet is neither.

We are all part of the Great Spirit, as is every living thing, plant and animal alike. The Great Spirit is also part of every rock, every stream, all things nonliving. Just as the Great Spirit is part of everything, everything is a part of the Great Spirit. We are created in God's image, thus we are a part of, a reflection of, God.

All Religions have a grain of truth. Since the very beginning of civilization, humans have sought to explain their creator. The Great Spirit became the Earth Mother, the Sky Father, because that is what people understood. The Great Spirit was explained by each group of people in the form that they could relate to the best, and that is why there are so many different Religions. As Civilization evolved, religion evolved. And like the human heart, it is full of contradictions.
