Celtic Wiccan Stuff

leafline

When I decided to dedicate myself to the Wiccan Path, I had no direction as far as traditions or pantheons. Then I visited Wales in October of 1998 and felt an affinity with the land... As the plane circled the airport, I got tears in my eyes for no reason other than the beauty of the place.

I also had an experience while I visited The Cardiff Castle in South Glamorgan, I was sure that I could feel the presence of past occupants, and the feelings were overwhelming. I even visited a Stone circle, which was amazing.

Then one day, after I returned home, I was surfing the net, not even looking for it, I happened across a page on Celtic Deities, and there was a description of Cerridwen.

It said she was patron of Poets... I write poetry; she was mother of Taliesin... I have always been drawn to Taliesin and named a childhood pet that name even though I had no real idea who he was; It said she was sometimes assciated with wolves... I believe that I have a wolf as a spirit animal.

I immediately felt that I had found what I was looking for, even though I wasnt looking. I knew it was the Celtic Path that interested me, and immediately began research.
